Chere’ began singing and playing guitar at age 5, listening to Loretta Lynn on the radio and studying songs and their structure. She fronted a Country band at age 12 but the Lord called her to sing for Him early in her 20’s. Since then she has released many recordings, but her career of songwriting, singing, and performing has soared in recent years, ignited by the release of her successful fourth CD “Armor of God” which was up for a Grammy Nomination for Album of the year 2013. Many songs off her newest 2014 Secular self titled release are being shared in Christian and Secular markets alike.
Chere’, who’s singing style, has been compared to Jewel and Sheryl Crow, has an edgy, eclectic style that sets her apart from other singers. With vocal styling’s like no other, and lyrics that cut to the heart, her music is moving and life changing. Chere’ is eager to share and minister throughout this great country, going wherever the Lord leads.
